Your Defination Of SEO?

May 21st, 2008 | 1 Comment | Posted in Personal Talks, SEO Talks

SEO Company Mumbai I am convinced, SEO Manager/SEO Company, Position for SEO these are just terms which some people have no understanding whatsoever!

I had been giving interviews in some SEO Companies based in Mumbai.

Reason? Well why not give it a try? I am in this field from 3-4 years now and if I can spread some knowledge, get a good team, working atmosphere, I don’t mind working!

Moreover working with a big team, means different mind, different ideas and more knowledge. :)

Anyways getting to what I was saying, Man if you are a SEO Company, please keep educated HR’s (Human Resource) atleast a bit net savvy!

SEO Manager - A Content Writer, SEO Executive - Webmaster, Opening for SEO - means opening for a Directory Submitter, Article Writer/Submitter!!

Well thats not my defination for SEO, but some HR’s & Companies who don’t know head n tail for SEO, and sit in front of you to take your SEO opening interview.

Seo Definition - By Wikipedia

So next time you goahead saying yes for an personal interview with a company, discuss with the HR of the company, whats the position they are offering, what are they exactly looking for, do they have a team, will training be provided!

I have wasted hours, days and week with nearly 7-8 companies getting zero out of the company and suffering the torture of their HR’s, mumbai traffic and heat. The result was not good no doubt, but it atleast gave me an idea of how people operate these days and how companies earn a bad reputation because of hiring some stupid employers, who hire cheap employees who work just how the company tells them and with the companies definition for SEO.

As a result; the client, genuine candidates, intelligent minds and people with right knowledge and attitude suffer!

Be smart, be cool, be intelligent don’t let a company make you work for something you aren’t comfortable with, after all its your life & career - let it grow in the right way! :-D

7 Things to Check before buying website Links

November 29th, 2006 | 1 Comment | Posted in SEO Talks, Web Talks

Here’s a very good article written by a friend of mine!

These are 7 Basic things needed to check before you buy a link in a website

1. Page Rank - Check the page rank whether its genuine or not, for this you can use Fake PR checking tools like http://www.seologs.com/pr-check/pagerank.html and check if the PR is a original and not fake too which is from redirects. Also check whether the links are relevant or not, because relevant links only help.

2. Traffic Stats - The buyers normally provide Awstats traffic stats or else alexa stats but you should always check whether the stats are not fake ie photoshoped. Many times the seller change the stats and show wrong ones to show they have lot of traffic.
